White House Denounces 'Democrat Fabrication' as Further Jeffrey Epstein Photos Released

House Democrats have made public a new tranche of what they termed "troubling" photographs from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The first release of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 released later on Friday represent a tiny fraction of the almost 100,000 images provided to the House oversight committee, which is probing the behavior and associations of Epstein.

The disgraced financier died by apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being accused of sex-trafficking offenses.

High-Profile Individuals in the Images

Included in the high-profile individuals visible in the opening set are public figures such as movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft founder Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin empire.

Donald Trump appears in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.

White House Response

The White House addressed the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of selectively "cherry-picking" the photographs for electoral motives and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."

"The Democrat hoax against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a presidential representative stated, insisting that "the Trump administration has done more for Epstein's survivors than Democrats have at any point by consistently demanding openness, releasing reams of documents, and urging more inquiries into Epstein's liberal connections."

Congressional Democrat Statement

The photographs were released lacking captions, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the oversight committee, they elicit additional doubts about Epstein's associations with affluent people.

"It is time to stop this White House obfuscation and bring justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he said in a release.

The release of these documents coincides with the House panel pressing on with its inquiry into the affair.
