Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in an LA Car Crash
The visionary game developer, who helped create the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The renowned game designer died after his automobile collided and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, according to.
