Week 10 again delivered, with a huge upset for the Bills demonstrating the 'any Sunday can bring surprises' saying that attracts so many people into the NFL

This outcome could have created things up for the Patriots to creep back into a leading position they formerly held, with a remaining games that provides them an advantage over their eight and two competitors

Over in the NFC the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams had ideal outcomes to set up a monster clash next week, while our top performer is pursuing milestones as well as the Most Valuable Player award

Analysis - Simply an Off Day for Buffalo?

Josh Allen in action
Was Josh Allen try too much or could it simply have been a poor performance for the Bills?

Was it just an emotional comedown from defeating Kansas City last week or a deeper issue? That's the question for the Bills to address

The Bills had secured seven victories in a consecutive games against Miami but were second best from the beginning as the Dolphins emerged as 30-13 victors in an eye-opening result - and display

MVP quarterback Josh Allen only achieved the team's initial first down in the third quarter and initial scoring in the final quarter - yes the Dolphins had 10 days to get ready but it was nonetheless a massive egg produced by one of the league's top offences

Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdowns but running back De'Von Achane was the game-changing factor, with 225 combined yards and two scores

Containing the league's best running game was crucial too, with Cook and company recording just eighty-six yards, their fewest of the year and just over fifty percent their 161.5 yard season average

Then there were the three crucial turnovers, and the two from Allen in particular. An interception in the scoring area resulting in a nine minute drive produced nothing, and his fourth-quarter dropped ball that the Dolphins converted to a touchdown just later

It was classic 'previous Bills teams' as they hurt themselves in the foot, getting into a deficit on defense and Josh Allen trying to do too much to dig his team out of it - not the composed, disciplined, well-balanced Bills we've seen this season

The Dolphins have demonstrated a bit of everything this season so the verdict is uncertain on if this is the beginning of something, but for the Bills they'll need an instant response in a difficult matchup against the Buccaneers next week as the Patriots are quietly moving into a nice lead at the summit of the American Football Conference East

Spotlight - New England See Path to Unexpected First Place

Regarding the New England, they're one of three different 8-2 teams in the NFL, all American Football Conference teams, but could they be the best?

One could pick holes in the Patriots, the Broncos and Indianapolis really for dominating the lesser sides, with only five of their total 24 victories achieved against teams with a winning record - and one of those was the Indianapolis defeating the Broncos

The Broncos defeated the champion Eagles in Philadelphia and are kings of the fourth-quarter while Indianapolis can rely on Taylor, but the New England including Sunday's victory in Tampa to their prime time success in Buffalo appears to be a declaration

Their two defeats occurred in recently appointed coach Vrabel's first three games, with seven consecutive victories, similar to Denver, from that point - but taking down Mayfield after the Bucs had a bye to prepare was huge

Maye's MVP claims continue to be discussed, and he definitely deserves credit for courage after taking some savage hits in Tampa Bay but persevering to guide his side to victory

The defensive unit is solid and rookie rusher TreVeyon Henderson exploded on game day with 147 yards and two exciting scores of 55 and 69 yards - becoming just the fifth ball carrier to break 22 miles per hour this year on his initial touchdown

While you can argue who 'the top team' is technically, the Patriots should be favourites to finish with the top record due to their schedule - which features just a single matchup against a winning team, although a huge one against the Bills

Visiting Baltimore is challenging too, but the Broncos have it more difficult in the AFC West division with the Kansas City to face two times, the Los Angeles Chargers (who could also compete for top seed but encounter the identical challenge) and additionally the Packers on the fixture list

The Colts also face the Kansas City, and have the Seahawks, San Francisco and two games with the five and four Jacksonville to contend with. There's a long way to travel but the opportunity is available for a shock number one position in the American Football Conference

Next Week - Rams & Seahawks Prepare for Week 11 Clash

Two teams with solid claims to be superior to all of the three 8-2 sides are NFC West opponents the Seattle and Los Angeles, who both scored forty points to go to seven and two before next week's major meeting between the two in Los Angeles

They've both won four in a row, have quarterbacks in Matthew Stafford and Darnold performing at an high standard (although Sam Darnold had turnover issues on Sunday) with excellent pass catchers, and defenses giving up under 20 points a game

Each could easily be undefeated as well - particularly the Los Angeles as their pair of losses occurred in extra time against the San Francisco and then that agonising loss in Philly when they had a game-winning kick with the last kick blocked and run back by the Philadelphia for a touchdown

Seattle also lost to San Francisco, with a last-minute score in the opening week, before losing to the final play of the game against the Buccaneers - so they're genuinely two of the best sides in the league

The upcoming game on Sunday could be the most exciting of the season to date
