In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Revealed

According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Bonus Material

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
